One child dies every 20 seconds due to lack of vaccines
Threat of Infectious Diseases
Vaccine shortages are a very serious problem in developing countries.
Infectious diseases that threaten children's lives have become very rare in Japan due to the widespread use of routine vaccinations. However, in developing countries where vaccines are not accessible, these diseases still pose a significant threat, causing deaths and severe aftereffects among those infected.
Even now, 4,000 small lives that could be saved with vaccines are lost every day.
